Life of the Voice – the Voice of Life workshop

Come and explore your voice, come and explore yourself and your connections with the world.
We will work with the body as an instrument, the breath as a bridge to your presence and with your voice as a carrier for what you really want to express from where you actually are. As a singer or simply a human being. In a playful and open way we will explore all the fantastic possibilities of the human voice; the beauty and the ugliness, the power, the vulnerability, all the colours and emotions that live in our voices and form our expression into the world. We will work with grounding and support and the ability to stand for who you are. We will improvise and make songs and soundscapes and explore the use of voice in relation to inner and outer landscapes.
This workshop is an introduction to the work and everyone is welcome to join.
Place: meet at Gnestas old watertower (Ljudtornet)

About Katrine Faber (DK)
Katrine is an actress, voice vocalist, storyteller, composer, director, voice trainer and psychotherapist. She is the founder of Teater Viva. With Teater Viva she is creating performances, performing and directing cultural meetings in many places around the world. She is trained as an actress in Spain and Italy and for 30 years she has had a special interest in the human voice and has been exploring the voice as an artist and a teacher. She has been trained as a singer and voice teacher in England, France and Denmark. She is a humorous, warm and engaging teacher. Katrine is the founder of the voice education Voxviva and leads workshops with the voice all over the world.
