STILL LOVECsenger Szabó (HU), Fenia Chatzakou (GR)
PerformanceDuration: 40 min
Still Love is a duet about relationships. Our individual stories come into dialogue through physical interaction in a playground-like environment. We play games to relearn and to reinvent our love. A landscape of states emerges where both individuals respond instinctively to each other as well as the environment. The characters develop a movement language that emanates from their curiosity to understand and communicate with each other. They engage with different coloured atmospheres where listening is at the foreground of their relationship.

MICROTUBRobin Hayward (UK) / Peder Simonsen (NO), Martin Taxt (NO)
ConcertDuration: 90 min
Microtub is something unique. The trio was founded in 2010 and it explores microtonal music through just intonation tuning systems and other alternative methods. Microtub has performed in festivals like Maerzmusik in Berlin, Sonic Acts in Amsterdam, Wien Modern, Ultima Festival in Oslo, INTONAL in Malmö and Sound of Stockholm. At HERE:2023 they will perform music from their upcoming album in which they explore new sounds using different half-valve fingerings for the tubas.MICROTUB
Microtub is the worlds first microtonal tuba ensemble. The trio was formed in 2010, a year after Robin Hayward developed the first fully microtonal tuba in collaboration with the German instrument manufacturer B&S.
Microtub have released five albums: Microtub (2011), Star System (2014), Bite of the Orange (2017), Chronic Shift (2019) and Sonic Drift (2021). They have presented their music at such festivals as Sonic Acts in Amsterdam, Ultima Festival in Oslo, Wien Modern, Borealis in Bergen and FIMAV in Victoriaville. They have also toured in countries like Japan (2012) and Mexico (2017). Since 2012 they have been exploring the possibilities that lie in the microtonal tuning system known as Just intonation, using the Hayward Tuning Vine interface as a tool for composing, rehearsing and sometimes also performing the music. Lately they have also collaborated and performed new music with the composers Ellen Arkbro and Catherine Lamb.
