Guitar legend Michael Schenker celebrates the 50th anniversary of his time with UFO live on tour When he joined UFO at the end of 1973, the then 18-year-old Michael Schenker contributed significantly to the British rock bands international mega-success and rose from being “the German Wunderkind" to becoming one of the most renowned guitarists of our time, who continues to influence entire generations of musicians around the world with his legendary guitar playing.
During his time with UFO from 1974-1978, known as the "Schenker era", Michael Schenker released five groundbreaking studio albums such as "Lights Out" (1977) and "Phenomenon" (1974) and the live album "Strangers In The Night" (Live in Chicago 1978), which is still considered groundbreaking today, and is jointly responsible for world hits such as "Doctor Doctor", "Rock Bottom" and "Only You Can Rock Me".
Michael Schenker is not only celebrating the 50th anniversary of his time with UFO with new editions of the best UFO songs of that time period with many guest stars on recordings, but will also be embarking on a major European tour with his backing band in 2025.
Due to the massive success of the “My Years With UFO” tour at the beginning of 2025, Michael Schenker will be back for round two starting in February 2026 – be there when the timeless classics take you on another journey into the past!

Restaurang Trädgårn eller Trädgår'n är en restaurang som ligger i Trädgårdsföreningen vid Nya Allén i Göteborg. Det första caféet på denna plats öppnades på våren 1858 och var ritad av arkitekten Adolf W. Edelsvärd. Det fanns bara manlig betjäning och punsch som enda spritdryck. Schweizeri kallades det då, även "Cafépavillon med tre Verandor ". Den byggdes om och flera tillbyggnader gjordes under åren. Den beskrevs 1870 vara byggd "... i en lätt, fantastisk morisk stil, der förfriskningar hållits allmänheten tillhanda. När härtill kommit att man på aftnarne bjudits på musik, af olika musikkårer, för hvilken en paviljong blifvit i sednare tid uppförd, så är det ej att undra öfver att den vackra anläggningen under somrarne är mycket besökt."
