Swedish New Musical Theatre Symposium

Välkomna till ett symposium om svensk musikteaters framtid.
Vilka möjligheter och utmaningar finns för att skapa nya musikaler i Sverige? Vilka lärdomar kan vi få från internationella initiativ och trender? Vad finns det för samarbetsmöjligheter som kan stötta utvecklingen av nya musikaler?
Med keynote-samtal från internationella gäster, panelsamtal, gruppdiskussioner och möjligheter till nätverkande och kontaktskapande hoppas vi att symposiet kommer gen en möjlighet att dela ideer, lära av varandra, främja samarbeten och skapa nya kontakter – både i Sverige och internationellt.

Symposiet anordnas av studio three sixty med stöd av Kulturrådet.
I biljettpriset ingår lunch, fika och kaffe.

A note on ticket price and categories:
This symposium is being organised on a voluntary basis. Ticket income will contribute to the cost of bringing speakers to Gothenburg for the conference and other event costs, including venue hire, catering and equipment. We want this symposium to be as accessible as possible and for this reason there are two price categories. Organisation price is for individuals who will be attending on behalf of their organisation. We also have a small number of subsidised tickets available for people who could not otherwise afford to attend – please get in touch with us at studio@studiothreesixty.uk for more information. We appreciate your support with this new initiative, which we hope will the beginning of great things!

Kronhuset, ursprungligen Giötheborgz Tyghuhs, är en stor, röd tegelbyggnad i Västra Nordstaden i Göteborg. Huset uppfördes under åren 1643-1655 med holländsk prägel, och är Göteborgs äldsta profana icke bostadsbyggnad. Möjligen är de ursprungliga ritningarna gjorda av den kungliga arkitekten Simon de la Vallée.
