Panophilia is a process-related performance project where a number of visual and music artists collectively create a site-specific piece beyond the confines of result/product but rather explore the process in itself. The event is open to the public Thursday May 26th 12:00–21:00 and Friday May 27th 09:00–21:00. The producers encourage the audience to actively participate in the creative process.

They act as a creative human swarm rather than a group of individuals. There are no directors nor leaders, only an idea: how to achieve the dissolution of physical, mental, and genre boundaries by creating something together. The outcome is irrelevant, there will be no product to sell. Instead, the process of producing art and music collectively and being the productive body becomes the actual artwork. The objective is to challenge the notion of an individual artist producing an individual work of art, and instead to regard the process of collectively producing art and, moreover, experiencing this process as the actual artwork. The quality of this artwork can no longer be defined in terms of a tangible or audible result; the series of actions taken on the way, and how everyone experiences them, define its quality. The audience is invited to participate in this all-encompassing interdisciplinary exercise. They are welcome to get involved in activities, get themselves heard and become part of the swarm. The conventional delineation between performer and audience will be abolished. We no longer distinguish between stage, orchestra, white cube, parking lot, and dancefloor. The event is walkable all around. Sight, sound, scent, locale, and people become one. Röda Sten konsthall är en konsthall belägen vid Röda Sten, under Älvsborgsbrons södra fäste vid Södra Älvstranden, i Göteborg.
Hösten 1991 bildade politikern Per Hållén tillsammans med Bob Kelly, Folke Edwards (chef för Lunds konsthall 1967-69 och Göteborgs stadsteater 1983-85, professor Kungliga Konsthögskolan i Stockholm 1985-89 och chef för Göteborgs konstmuseum 1990-95), Kent Karlsson (professor vid Konsthögskolan Valand vid Göteborgs universitet 1991–97), Lars Strannegård (innehavare av Bo Rydins och SCA:s professur i företagsekonomi vid Handelshögskolan i Stockholm 2010-, rektor för Handelshögskolan i Stockholm 2014-) och Akke Zimdal (arkitekt) en arbetsgrupp med uppgift att omvandla området Röda Sten och dess pannhus till en plats för samtida konst och kultur.
Traditionen med graffiti i området har resulterat i att den ena av konsthallens ytterväggar ses som en vägg där det är tillåtet att måla. Denna vägg är dock inte en så kallad laglig vägg. Däremot är det lagligt att bemåla Draken, en betongkulptur av Per Agelii, i anslutning till huset.
