I december 2023 kommer Classical Ukrainian ETOILE Ballet att presentera en av de mest kända baletterna i världen, Nötknäpparen!
The world-famous ballet The Nutcracker performed by Ukrainian ballet stars will be a magical Christmas present for the whole family!
A beautiful fairy tale about the adventures of young Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, full of exciting stories, was turned by Pyotr Tchaikovsky into the most popular classical ballet in the world in 1892. Today, the ballet The Nutcracker has become a worldwide Christmas tradition; this performance is staged annually on the theater and opera stages of the world.
The universal language of dance is understandable without translation to any audience - the stage will present the story of a girls fragile dream, the struggle between good and evil, where love wins.
Dancing snowflakes, the Nutcracker Prince, toy soldiers and the Sugar Plum Fairy come to life in this magical family classic. Experience a fantastical adventure with a little girl called Clara, as she drifts off to sleep on Christmas Eve. She meets her Prince, is confronted by a battle of larger-than-life mice and rats, and is whisked into the luscious land of sweets — it even snows on stage! The story is much more than just a Christmas tale. It is a story about growing up, which is also reflected in the dance.
Now is the time to fill yourself up and this is exactly the place where you forget the pressing problems and fuss, immerse yourself in the magical world, remember childhood dreams and fill your soul with inspiration, warmth and new dreams.
The production of classical choreography by Marius Petipa will be performed by Classical Ukrainian Etoile Ballet - professional classical ballet company, including winners of international ballet competitions, Peoples Artists of Ukraine, soloists of Ukrainian, and from February 2022, European theaters. The theater participates in tours on the worlds largest stages.
The tour is presented by the norwegian organization "Kultur for Folket" to support Ukrainian classical ballet art and Ukrainian artists who do not have the opportunity to perform in their homeland.The tour takes place in November and December in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Den ursprungliga sagan skrevs av den tyska författaren E.T.A. Hoffmann 1816. Nästan 50 år senare skrev den franska författaren Alexandre Dumas en ny version av Hoffmanns äventyr. Dumas version förvandlades till en balett 1892 med vacker musik av den ryske kompositören Pjotr Tjajkovskij och koreografi av Marius Petipa.
Sedan dess har Nötknäpparen blivit en av de mest kända baletterna i världen. Ett fascinerande äventyr om lilla Clara, den onda muskungen och den modiga nötknäpparen kommer att tilltala både barn och vuxna. Föreställningen arrangeras årligen på de största teater- och operascenerna i världen.
