Guided bus tour in English
The landscape around Lund and Malmö is full of contrasts. Extensive surroundings and rolling fields meet green hills. Discover vibrant villages and idyllic nature reserves, beautiful castles and a typical farm from the nineteenth century.
Our bus journey begins at Lund Cathedral, heading to Kulturens Östarp. At the ridge of Romeleåsen we will encounter a beautiful castle. At Kulturen’s Östarp you can experience an agricultural setting from the first half of the nineteenth century, with buildings, animals, and a garden in an old cultural landscape. At Östarp’s Inn we are served a lunch of genuine Scanian food. After a guided tour we will have a short walk in the enchantingly beautiful garden. Then the bus will take us to Uppåkra, Scandinavia’s largest and most find-rich Iron Age settlement. There we will have a Swedish coffee-break and a guided tour.
The journey ends at Lund Cathedral. The tour will take approx. 6 hours.
Lenght: 6 hours
Group size: Min. 28 persons. The tour will only take place, when there are 28 persons or more registered. Tickets must be bought in advance, before August 1. When you register, please let us know if you have any allergies, by calling the ticket office 046-131415.
Start and conclusion: The bus will pick you up at 10.30 in front of Lund Cathedral.
