– – 100%WET is the collaboration between producer/guitarists Casper Munns and Jakob Birch formed in Copenhagen 2023. Casper has a background playing in the dreampop/indie/art-rock band Himmelrum, releasing two critically acclaimed albums ‘Vand, Død, Ensomhed’ (’20) and ‘Indersiden Udad’ (’23) on Copenhagen-based label Big Oil Recording company. Under the alias Drop Casper has also released his first debutalbum ‘Superdream’ (’22) moving towards a labtop based approach to noise, glitchy slacker-rock and shoegaze. Same year he formed the drum’n’bass duo Splitscreen with Himmelrum drummer Eigil Pock - emerging himself fully into dreamcore, drum’n’bass and experimental electronic production styles. Jakob Birch has more than 15 years of experience as a live performer first touring with different pop/indie artists, and later on, as a formative member and songwriter in the indierock band Lovespeed (sony dk) and shoegaze/alt rock group The Lost Weekend. In his solo project Jakob has later gone in a more experimental direction with the release of an instrumental, lo-fi, drone album ‘Entry’ in 2023 on Cph-based underground label Janushoved. Before releasing of any material, 100%WET signed with international-profiled label Crunchy Frog (the Raveonettes, the Entrepreneurs and many more) in the summer of 2024. miaw is a cross-pop duo performing a ‘UK Bass’ inspired deconstructed club music resembling ‘Sega Bodega’ and ‘Pink Pantheress’ while blending into the field of shoegaze and 90’s triphop.
Consisting of Frederik Bruun (Infant Finches) and Liza Dries from Denmark and The Netherlands, the two producers use fast breakbeats, arpeggiated synthesizers and unorthodox sampling techniques to create a sound within the intersection between a remix and a popsong. Spotify:
