DIY är tillbaka och presenterar fyra fantastiska akter på scen!
THE SIGOURNEY WEAVERS
The Sigourney Weavers has always played a cocktail of everything from pop/rock to ska, now they start to experiment even more and embarks on the bigger arena rock sound that today is a bit of the band’s trademark.
We usually say that a good song is a good song regardless of style that’s the real essence of this band.
Oh, we almost forgot. The band name we had been thinking for a while about that when friend of ours aka The God Of Rock simply said at a party ñ You should name the band The Sigourney Weavers!

ASTRO-LLOYD
Astro-Lloyd is all about the love for music – constantly seeking to widen their horizon by using inspiration from a wide variety of genres and creating a new sound. Some of the greatest influences include Foo Fighters and Biffy Clyro. Their debut album ’Astro Life’ was released on April 28th 2017 and their new acoustic EP ‘Astro Life: ReLloyded’ consisting acoustic versions of a couple of songs from said album, to be released 2nd November 2018.

HEDDA HATAR
Hedda Hatar spelar egenskriven indie-/alternativ rock. Bandet kom tvåa i musiktävlingen Livekarusellen 2017, och har spelat live i hela Sverige sedan hösten 2016, bland annat på Sweden Rock Festival, Umeå Open och Mejeriet i Lund. Nu kör de äntligen på Babel!

FORGETTING YESTERDAY
Formed in early 2017, Forgetting Yesterday is a 5 piece Pop Punk band from Sweden emitting great energy on stage with their unique sound. Blending classic Pop Punk/Punk Rock influences such as Green Day, The Offspring, and Sum 41 with a mix of both heavier and softer elements. With emotional and dramatic lyrics they reach for the heart.

Babel föddes ur askan av kulturhuset Jeriko. Personerna bakom Babel drev tidigare bar och klubbverksamheten i huset och genomförde under 2008 en vision de gått och burit på länge. Man ville med Babel skapa en internationellt gångbar konsert- och klubblokal för en musikintresserad publik. Under renoveringen byttes hela ljud- och ljussystem ut för att skapa de bästa förutsättningar för att arrangera konsert-, klubb- och andra scenarrangemang.
