Folk Å Rock introducerar Sleaze-Pub-Punk-duon Darrell Bath (Brighton) & Rob Carlyle (New York) torsdag den 21:a mars. Öppnar 19, På scen 20. Fysiska biljetter hos Folk å Rock, Musik & Konst och Skivesset. Rockklubb, bar & restaurang.
Äntligen kan vi presentera charmiga, alternativa rockstjärnan Darrell Bath i Malmö! Darrells influenser är en nere-på-puben-mix av Faces, Rolling Stones & New York Dolls. Hans osannolika musikaliska resa börjar i olika lokala punkband på 80-talet. 1987-90 är han medlem i UK Subs och medverkar på skivan "Japan Today". 1990 startar han Faces-inspirerade The Crybabys tillsammans med parhästen Honest John Plain från The Boys. De spelar in fem album under 90-talet och återförenas från och till fram till nu. 1993 är han med i Dogs D'Amour som släpper skivan " More Unchartered Heights of Disgrace". 1995-2000 spelar han med Ian Hunter och gör stora avtryck på skivorna "Ian Hunter's Dirty Laundry" (grammisnominerad med ett band bestående av Darrell, Honest John Plain, Casino Steel, Glen Matlock & Die Toten Hosen-trummisen Vom Ritchie) och "The Artful Dodger". 1996 är han för första gången med i punkhjältarna The Vibrators. Han återkommer 2014-2017 och medverkar på skivorna "Punk Mania" och "Past, Present, and Into the Future". 2000 släpps första soloskivan under gruppnamnet Sabrejet. De turnerar dessutom runt i Europa som kompband till Dan Baird (Georgia Satellites). 2001 släpps uppskattade soloplattan "Love and Hurt". 2002 är han medlem i svenska Diamond Dogs och han spelar även med Nikki Sudden och Ted Tudorpole (Sex Pistols-bekante Tenpole Tudor). 2015 kommer nästa soloplatta "Roll Up".
Rob Carlyle är en äkta New York City Rocker med Darrell Bath-matchande referenser. Hans band Rob Carlyle & The Compulsions släpper i år skivan "Ferocious" där musiker med bakgrund i David Bowies band, Guns N' Roses och New York Dolls medverkar.

Front Men Reunite For Return Of The Rock & Roll Double Whammy
Get ready to “Shake Hands With The Devil” and then go “Dancin’ With the Devil’s Goombah.”
That’s right, CRYBABYS’ main man, Darrell Bath, and COMPULSIONS’ main man, Rob Carlyle, will join forces once again as they hit the road on their Return Of The Rock ‘N’ Roll Double Whammy tour.
A few months ago, in September 2018, the Englishman and the New Yorker met for the first time on a co-headlining jaunt through England and Germany.
“It couldn’t have gone any better,” says Darrell. “For starters, our music worked together perfectly: A little boogie-woogie here, a little blues there, maybe a ballad or three thrown in for good measure.”
Now the boys are getting ready to hit England and Germany all over again – but this time with Sweden in the mix.
“It’s gonna be great to see everyone again. I was called ‘naughty’ after two different shows in England… so I guess they were paying attention to the lyrics!” says Rob. “And I met a whole bunch of rock ‘n’ rollers in Germany who are still keepin’ it real. I’m also psyched for Sweden. I’ve never played there before but I’ve heard nothing but great things about the Scandinavian music scene. Can’t f*ckin’ wait!”
Return Of The Rock ‘N’ Roll Double Whammy kicks off on 15 March in Darrell’s hometown of Brighton. (And that’s a Friday night, mate, so ya know it makes sense!)
