Rendez-vous: Tash LC + Your Planet is Next

Rendez-vous is back again with a new amazing compound of eclectic and playful sounds. This time we're welcoming one of the most interesting names from the UK, together with a favorite "weirdo" from Stocktown. Warm up by the yoghurt-based Malmö-boys. Welcome to Rendez-vous!
Tash LC [UK] [BBC 1XTRA/Worldwide FM]
From time to time we come across an act that embodies all of the things we aspire to do within the framework of “Rendez Vous”. London based artist, radio host and DJ Tash LC is truly one of these acts. In just a few years, she’s gone from hosting student radio shows, to residencies at institutions such as Radar Radio, Worldwide FM and BBC 1XTRA, where she presents a unique blend of global beats and underground dance music. Outside of her radio duties she hosts parties as one third of London based collective Boko! Boko!, alongside fellow DJ:s Mina and Juba. By the end of the night we suspect you’ll understand why Tash is being called one of the UK’s most exciting new talents.

Your Planet is Next (live) [Studio Barnhus/Klasse Wrecks]
Arvid Wretman aka Your Planet Is Next has actually been releasing top shelf stuff dating back as far as 2014. He caught both our ears and hearts with his YPIN EP on the legendary Studio Barnhus label back in 2016 and makes what some would call hypnotic, heavily acid infused disco music. On his website, he claims: Your Planet Is Next's live show will bring added marketing value and guaranteed customer satisfaction to your dance party.
We think he’s right and so, we did.

Ayran Maiden
Hateff Mousaviyan and Lautaro Cubilla have been putting the ”acid” in acidophilus for many a year now. Their kooky mix of electronic music bears resemblance to international spice merchants from the olden days: suave, surprising and somewhat slithery.
In its essence it’s house. By lovers, for lovers. Hip-dislocating stuff from all over the spectrum, man. Disco and predominantly dumb doo-doo. No additives, no nothing – just a fun, anti-ennui, 360 crescent kick in the face of convention.
