FORCED TO MODE - 10 DECEMBER PÅ BABEL
Forced To Mode is regarded as the “worlds best Depeche Mode cover band” (Sonic Seducer, depechemode.de, Monkeypress...) whose shows have already been enthusiastically received in 18 countries across Europe.
The reactions of the audience and the press, as well as the bands many concert videos and live CDs, speak for themselves: they describe the F2M shows as tribute concerts in a “league of their own”. The fanbase that has built up around Forced To Mode is also remarkable: no other band - apart from Depeche Mode itself - has more views or posts in the largest German-language DM forum. Forced To Modes own YouTube channel has over 3.8 million video views.
But what remains above all is the very energetic live performance, the “very close to the original voices” and the perfectionist attention to sound detail that make F2Ms tribute shows so unique and unforgettable!
Forced To Mode resurrect the spirit of the earlier, iconic Depeche Mode eras and bring it back to the big stage with absolute skill and sophistication in show and sound. Constantly changing setlists and DM songs that have rarely, if ever, been played live are part of the bands credo. F2M have also played their way deep into the hearts of DM fans with their themed shows (tour or album specials, B-side concerts, shows with symphony orchestra or string quartet and much more).
In over 13 years, F2M have played almost 500 concerts, 3 “acoustic” or “string-tours” and various anniversary and special shows. The repertoire of the 3 musicians from Berlin now includes over 130 Depeche Mode songs and there is still no end in sight...

Babel föddes ur askan av kulturhuset Jeriko. Personerna bakom Babel drev tidigare bar och klubbverksamheten i huset och genomförde under 2008 en vision de gått och burit på länge. Man ville med Babel skapa en internationellt gångbar konsert- och klubblokal för en musikintresserad publik. Under renoveringen byttes hela ljud- och ljussystem ut för att skapa de bästa förutsättningar för att arrangera konsert-, klubb- och andra scenarrangemang.
