Petter Bergander har som en av musiksveriges mest anlitade pianister delat scen med artister som Nils Landgren, Lisa Nilsson, Louise Hoffsten och Kaah. Med sin kompromisslösa närvaro och unika mix av piano och elektroniska instrument har han väckt jubel i både svenska småstäder och på stora jazzfestivaler i Europa.
I höst släpper hans egen trio Petter Bergander Trio debutalbumet The Grand Dance. All musik är egenkomponerad och kommunicerar en tydlig längtan till en modern, internationell jazzscen.

I wrote most of the songs for this album in 2012 when I lived a couple of months in Bangkok. The big city is full of people from all over the world. I was watching them talking to each other and moving their bodies as if they wanted to dance. I started thinking what people really want and long for is to meet other people and then just dance a little. Tango with words or just move together. It gave me the idea that we are all part of The Grand Dance.
