Stockholm Old Town stoRy Tour™ is a unique Old Town Walking Tour. It takes you on a journey from stoRy to histoRy of Stockholm and Sweden. History will come to life as you walk through the winding alleys and hear tales of Frögun the Viking woman, medieval merchants, kings and queens of bygone days, genial Swedish inventors such as Alfred Nobel, heroes like Raul Wallenberg, and last but not least, ABBA one of the world’s most successful pop groups.
All the stories, facts and anecdotes we tell on our tour have a connection to the charming streets, historical buildings like the Old Town Market Square, Viking rune stones, the German Church, Stockholm’s narrowest alley, the house that was once home to two members of ABBA, the Royal Palace and the cathedral. “From stoRy to histoRy” Old Town Walking Tour covers all of these and much more.

Unsere Stockholm Altstadt stoRy Tour™ ist ein Rundgang der ganz besonderen Art. Sie erkunden das historische Zentrum Gamla Stan in kleiner Gruppe zu Fuß. Dabei erfahren Sie Vieles über die spannende Geschichte Stockholms, aber auch Interessantes über das Leben der Stockholmer heute.
Gamla stan, till 1980 officiellt Staden mellan broarna, är Stockholms historiska centrum och uppbyggt på Stadsholmen. Även Helgeandsholmen och Strömsborg tillhör stadsdelen Gamla stan. Ibland räknas också Riddarholmen till Gamla stan, men den utgör en egen stadsdel. Under flera hundra år utgjorde Gamla stan den egentliga staden. Stadsdelen bildades 1926 och hade år 2006 cirka 3 000 invånare. Gamla stan tillhör Södermalms stadsdelsområde och har en yta av 36 hektar. På Gamla stans norra spets återfinns Stockholms slott.
