Join the choreographer and performer Freddy Houndekindo for an unorthodox dance workshop for all ages and levels. Mixing rhythm, text and group improvisation. We also invite you to attend the performances of ‘Becoming Tree’ at Liljevachs as part of STHLM DANS.
Freddy Houndekindo is an interdisciplinary artist situated at the intersection of dance, mperformance text and installation. His work reflects on subjects such as identity, blackness and masculinity. Through the study and practice of various combat sport Freddy engages in a deep enquiry of male culture, violence and intimacy. Houndekindo is currently completing a Masters in Fine Art at Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm where he is further developing his solo project “Men(d)ing: A speculative archive on contemporary masculinity". He previously danced with Cullberg (2018-2024).
