Enjoy The Silence
Improvisors often talk too much: too much exposition, too much gossiping, too much chatting. Unessential talking keeps us from the Truth, it is a smoke screen hiding our fear of the unknown. But just removing words is not working on silence, we must also learn to convey our feelings and emotions in an universal way, able to reach our partners onstage and the audience.
Paolo Busi started improvising in 1991 (and this makes him one of oldest Italian improvisors still alive). He started teaching in 1996 and since 2016 is an Improteatro Certified Improv Teacher. He teached in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Sweden, Finland and Estonia. In 2014 he developed Impromask, an using Commedia dellArte inspired masks long form. In 2016 wrote the chapter "Diversity, Differnce And The Art Of Making Mistakes" in the book "The Art of Making Mistakes" (https://draamatyo.fi/tuote/the...). He teaches improv at schools, in corporate environments and - starting in 2021 - he is using improv in courses dealing in gender issues in the projects "Playful change" and "To Play".
